This site has been around for over two decades and I have added features, articles, tools, photographs, and other information I thought might be useful and inspirational. In response, many visitors, friends, and photographers joined the mailing list to receive updates when I published new articles. Due to technical reasons, I have had to replace the portion of the site that sent emails to subscribers, and this is a turning point for all.

What You Need To Do

You can take several actions, and I encourage you to follow your interests and heart. I understand my writing and subjects have changed, and new articles may not interest you. Feel free to unsubscribe, no hard feelings at this end. Or, you may want to remain on the list and receive these notices in the future. In either case, you NEED to take one action.

1. If you want to remain on the list and receive future notices, please reply to the e-mail with a single line: Keep me on the list. I will make sure of that.
2. If you do not want to receive notices from Kept Light, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message you received, and you will no longer get them
3. If you do not take either action in two weeks, I will remove your email address from the list in compliance with the opt-in rules of good site practices; so, no action equals unsubscription.
4. If you receive multiple e-mails because you subscribed more than once with different email addresses, please use the unsubscribe link in the email message at the address where you do not want to receive updates.

Writing new articles, taking photographs, and sharing them keep me busy. Occasionally, I review a product or two and share my honest opinion. When I find a tool or technique that may be too obtuse, I try to write and shed some light on it.

I take this opportunity to thank all the subscribers and visitors of Kept Light Photography. I hope it has helped, inspired, quizzed, challenged … your photography. More to come …
