I am delighted to announce my coming virtual exhibit of Safranbolu photographs. The exhibit, Safranbolu Time Travel, is a part of the Boston Turkish Arts and Culture Festival organized and run by The Turkish American Cultural Society (TACS) of New England. This will be their 28th festival, and I am proud to be a part of their month-long series of events a second time with the virtual exhibit and a Zoom conversation.
Safranbolu Time Travel
The exhibit will present my work echoing the history, art, culture, and the people of Safranbolu. I will unveil the exhibit as scheduled by TACS on November 3, 2023, and it will remain open until at least December 15, 2023. Although you can visit the exhibit site now, you will see a “coming soon” screen.
An Online Talk About the Exhibit
You can also join a Zoom conversation on November 11, 2023, at 4:00 PM EST, moderated by Adnan Onart. The Zoom presentation is open to all and is free, but you need to register for the meeting to receive the link for it.
We will discuss various topics and present the virtual exhibit and its galleries. I hope you can join us for this online discussion and visit the Safranbolu Time Travel to enjoy the time capsule at your own pace.
Recorded Video
TACS has posted the video of this conversation and I am sharing it here for the record.

Good to hear from you, Yaver. My Safranbolu photographs are mainly of the town architecture. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t have any photographs of Ibrahim or Gul. But you can see their fingerprints on the wonderful works they were able to bring forward.
Take care,
Cemal
