Folios, either limited or open editions contain a number of original prints in an unbound format. They are presented in an elegant folio cover with an introductory page and a certificate of authenticity. Although they are meant to be enjoyed intimately by holding them in hand, they also lend themselves for framing if you choose to enjoy them in that fashion. With the exception of those printed on special paper, I print all the photographs myself using a very high quality archival pigment printer on premium grade papers suitable for the folio.
Enjoying the individual prints at close distance and holding them in your hand is a particular joy but you must exercise care in holding the print and not touch the print surface. It is a good idea to wash the hands and thoroughly dry them before handling prints. In some folios that are extremely susceptible to fingerprints a pair of white gloves are included which should be worn when handling prints.
