A ]local gourmet deli, Caputo’s near Elif’s house has live music every Friday starting around 5:30 PM and Mina enjoys the attraction. Their main store is in downtown Salt Lake City and this one, Caputo’s 2 is a new one. So, after some rest in the afternoon we drove down to Caputo’s and took a corner table. Across the street was Mina’s favorite bookstore, next to it another restaurant they enjoy visiting Maza.
Next to our table was the owner Tony Caputo with his family. The jazz trio was very nice, they made very good music as we enjoyed our deli sandwiches. A little later, the young manager’s wife Myra arrived with their daughter Tulula as they had arranged earlier with Elif. Mina and Tulula played around and then went to next door where the bagel place was closed with their tables outside; more room to play for them. Myra was a lovely young woman who joined us at our table. Around 7:00 pm or so it started getting a bit too hot for me (dry or not, hot is hot) so Elif dropped us back at home and returned to spend more time with the kids and the friends.
