Social distancing has become a new way of life, yet many don’t seem to observe the simple rule. That may be due to the insufficient explanation of the reason for social distancing and staying home. The reason is simple, the rule is not mainly to protect each of us from catching the virus, hope nobody gets it. It is essentially a preventive measure that blocks the roads for the virus just like a raised bridge stops the flow of traffic.
If You Raise the Bridge …
So, remember, underscore the need to slash the opportunities to carry any virus anywhere. The symbol above, consisting of slashes, spaces, and underscores is easy to remember as the core reason for social distancing.
Raise the bridge, _/ \_ stay home! Be safe. And, keep busy!

We have to keep the balance between hygiene of distancing and the extra stress caused by distancing itself. That’s my way of seeing things.
Personally, I believe that almost all of us will be infected sooner or later; the later the better of course. Important is to keep the bodily immune system high up all the time. Many times this is partly possible by “un-distancing”, if you like.
Stay well dear Cemal and best regards,

You may be right, Haluk. The main purpose of the post was to better explain the reason for distancing which is to block the roads for the virus. Stay well, all of us.
