The opening reception of my exhibit, Touching The History: Photographs From The Dome Of Hagia Sophia, was well attended and highly enjoyable for me. I hope those who were there enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed sharing my experience with them. Thanks, Ted and Dennis for recording the event; will have photographs and video footage which I will share. Thanks, TACSRI, and Catherine for the lovely flowers.

I have had many inquiries about the beautiful music that accompanies both slide shows. The first one is liturgical music. The CD is called “La Gloire de Byzance” and the track used in the show is #11, “Bénis le Seigneur, ô mon âme (Psaume 122, 1-22)” beautifully performed by Divna Ljubojevic. You can find the CD at Amazon.com.
The music of the second slideshow is from a CD by Ihsan Ozgen, titled “Anatolia.” The musical pieces are solo ney and violoncello. The publisher is Kalan Muzik in Istanbul, Turkey.
Thank you all for coming.
