I watched and photographed the last performance in the series the Festival Ballet Providence has been presenting for the last three weekends. This was well attended like the others I have seen but with a difference: There were a lot of kids who came to watch the performance and to talk with the dancers after the performance.
The show was fun, fast-paced, enjoyable. “Since the audience has been very good” as Misha, the artistic director announced at the end, “there would be cookies, milk, and juice for everyone.” The after the show party was also quite delightful with families engaging the dancers, taking photographs, kids enjoying the cookies, and having a grand time.
I gathered the memories of this performance for you to revisit as many times as you like. I have also taken many photographs of children having fun with the dancers, you may request copies of those photographs from me through FBP.
Stay tuned for a printed magazine of this performance to be available soon to benefit the Festival Ballet Providence.
