LensCulture is a premier Web site that features a select group of photographers and their work, and I have been visiting the site to look at great photography. The Guardian found it to be “One of the most authoritative and wide-ranging sites.” And The Independent says that it is a “definitive resource for anyone who wants to keep up with the latest trends and debates in contemporary photography.” The participation is either by submission of work which is reviewed by the editors of the site, or by invitation. A few days ago I received an e-mail informing me that my visitor account was upgraded to a portfolio account at no charge and that I could upload an unlimited number of projects and make them visible to the discriminating eyes of LensCulture.com visitors. The invitation said “So why are you receiving this invitation now? Every month, we identify a group of talented photographers whose work we would love to see on our site. We would personally be delighted if you joined our invitation-only network.“
I am honored to be included in a group with many humbling names. I will share more portfolios there, and I hope that you get a chance to visit my collection. And while there also take a look at many other projects by a very talented group of photographers.
