Bronze at PX3 is better than HM I Won
Prix de la Photographie, Paris, Px3 runs prestigious juried shows. Some years ago, I entered one and found that I won an honorable mention five years later after I accidentally stumbled on my photographs on their site. Earlier this year, I noticed their new call and encouraged Jan to submit some of her abstract photographs.
We submitted her photographs on May 7 and have been waiting to hear the results. Well, they came a few days ago and her collection received a bronze medal in Fine Art/Abstracts category! She was very, very excited of course! So was I, but waited to share the news until I had access to her bronze medal certificate which I did just about ten minutes ago.
Without much ado, here are her photographs and her bronze medal certificate. Big congratulations, Jan!
You can see them also on their site with her statement. But, due to a technical problem, the photographs show in poor quality, I have brought it to their attention.

Thanks David. That marvelous junkyard was my mentor, so to speak. I learned “how to see” there.
