Celebrate life together, married for 49 years. Happy anniversary, Jan, my dearest. We have known each other for over half a century and married for almost as long.
You left Rhode Island in 1971 with your wedding gown in a bag, slung on your shoulder, and came to be with me in Adana, Turkey. Thank you for taking that risk and being with me for all these years.
