Yes, I am a fair-weather photographer. I don’t like to go out on cold or rainy days, but when the air is dry and the temperature is comfortable I enjoy my walks, short ones as you all know by now! Today was one of those days and I have been waiting to photograph the flowering trees, dogwood, redbud, and others.
In front of the Asbury United Methodist Church, the short flowering trees with the large, actually huge green tree behind them reminded me of an adult guarding children. The brick church with its angular structure stood in stark contrast to the delicate show of nature. Around the corner, I saw the white fence that I photographed many times but in the springtime, it looked different, fresher. A little further the lush green foliage in the dense wild area in between houses created a lush almost impenetrable curtain.
One more corner and I was back on Spring Green Road, a short hop from home.
I also included a few redbud tree photographs from a few days ago to complete the series. They were on our street a few houses down. Today, most of the flowers were gone the tree looked a lot darker.

Very neat and refreshing.
Still, you should never miss some “bad” weather light!
Take care and thanks, Cemal.

Neat and refreshing is better than cold, damp, and wet, Haluk! The flowering trees of the season are indeed refreshing.
Take care,
