It is not easy to have Covid-19 portraits taken! For an upcoming virtual meeting, I needed a photograph of Jan and me. Although I could have set up something indoors, the camera on the tripod, and take photographs that way, I thought they would be more meaningful if they also conveyed the situation we face. I asked Jim if he would take our photographs as we posed in the window, maintaining the requisite social distancing. The good friend that he is, he quickly accepted. And, we posed in the window while he took the photographs from the front yard.
He did some quick initial processing and passed the Covid-19 portraits’ raw files to me. I spent a little more time and even decided to have two sets, one monochrome and one in color. Here they are! Let us know which ones work for you, and whether in color or monochrome. Click on them to see larger.
Happy New Year to All.
Thank you very much, Jim. Ho, ho, hoo …
Here is a new shot of the same idea, executed at the end of 2021.

Cemal Hocam, I think I know these artists in the pictures. The very famous, award-winning, stunning actor and actress portrayed are also very loving, caring, warm, pleasant people, and I think the photos reflect these attributes quite well. You can be a Nordic sailor, or a scientist, or simply a brother of Santa too. Thank you and Jan for providing us a very enjoyable experience. Happy and healthy 2021!

Ah, thank you, Suleyman. Flattery will get you a cup of coffee sometime! These artists have been called, cute, adorable, delightful, … on Facebook. We are waiting for our phone call from Hollywood! Happy, healthy, productive new year.
