As Theme Change Goes On

To bring a more visual presentation of the content on the site, I will be switching the theme currently in use. Instead of blocking access to the site during the switch, I have decided to do it on the live site. All the content should be available, although the presentation may fluctuate and change. Please bear with the process as I expect it to be only a few hours long once started.

The page layout may change while you browse, or the sidebar may disappear. Rest assured, all will be intentional and with some level of control. I have a staging site with the general layout under control. It will be a matter of transferring the element structures to the live site.

I hope you will like the new layout, which will focus on presenting the content with minimal distraction. Along with that, the sidebar will most likely vanish, and periodic posts of new and relevant information available on the Web may replace it. The portfolio presentation will have a different look, and the content will most likely be a narrower width on a single column. The navigation will be mostly intact, and the presentation of the galleries and other visual content will remain the same.

Stay tuned, don’t be surprised if the next page you view looks different from the previous one. This is a controlled change, and I believe for the better. Better presentation, better browsing, better viewing, better mobile device experience, and reading. Still based on StudioPress Genesis.
