Kardelen in Infrared
As the queen of the house, and a fine Angora cat, Kardelen deserved a little mor study. Yesterday, I photographed her with my IR camera for enhanced contrast and pale rendering of her pink skin, essentially white-on-white study.

Kardelen
Kardelen is the queen of the house. She is a beautiful Angora cat with blue eyes, and she is deaf. I mean stone deaf.Kardelen is the name of the flower that pokes its head through the snow in early spring, Snow Drop. Kardelen literally translated means “snow poker”, and the cat is named after the snow white and the white flower that emerges from it. Using this as a metaphor, the prominent “Cagdas Yasami Destekleme Dernegi” along with Turkcel and Ministry Responsible for Women and Family started the “Kardelenler” project. Narmanli Han
Narmanli Han is an old caravansarai style building. It served as a hotel, residence for some well-known figures, and office space. Currently one of the notary public offices is located inside. It has a large atrium and structures on all sides. The main residents are the many cats that made the garden and the surrounding structures home.
Here are a few of the residents in this wonderful space.
